Scott is entering his 15th year as head cross country and assistant track and field coach. He has been working at Caltech for 21 years in the admissions department. Before coaching at Caltech, he was the assistant cross country coach at South Pasadena High School.
During his time at Caltech he has coached seven all-conference male athletes and three all-conference female athletes.
In the spring he serves as the asst. coach for the track and field team.
He graduated in 1992 from UCLA with an Economics degree. Scott lives in South Pasadena with his wife Kelly, son Tyler and daughters Evy and Molly.
