A native of southern California, Antwain Morgan joined the Caltech cross country and track and field coaching staff beginning in the summer of 2019. A true advocate for personal development, Morgan believes that athletics can provide the catalyst for which all individuals can realize their full potential.
After graduating from the University of Redlands, he volunteered during the 2016-17 season at the California State University Northridge (CSUN) where his experiences sparked a passion for coaching. He then spent two years on the coaching staff at William Woods University as a graduate assistant, earning his masters in Athletic Administration while assisting with all aspects of the program. At Woods, he assisted in coaching the women’s 4x100m relay and men’s 4x400m relay to consecutive conference titles and helped produce two national qualifiers and one All-American.
Morgan received his undergraduate degree in physics from Redlands in 2015. As a student-athlete, he did astrophysics research and was a conference champion and NCAA qualifier as a standout member of the Bulldogs' 4x400m relay team.
