Occidental Prevails in Tight Match

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Caltech women's tennis team dropped a tight 5-4 SCIAC contest to Occidental on Saturday afternoon.

Occidental grabbed momentum by winning at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to take two of the three matches during the double portions of the match.

The Beavers pulled out three-set wins as Rebekah Kitto and Michelle Tang won at the first and sixth singles spots. However, Jessica Go did just enough to prevail over Caltech's Stephanie Kwan at the No. 2 singles positions to help seal the team victory for the Tigers.
