Personal
Chose Caltech because of the want to do research on and design prosthetics... Was drawn to Caltech by the the ROAMS program and the excellent faculty and students... Also valued the the fantastic volleyball program... Favorite part about Caltech is the campus, people and spirit of collaboration and friendship... Likes being a Caltech athlete because she is able to represent the school; also values the support and community the team offers... Played the violin for her high school orchestra as well as the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra (GYSO)... Played Varsity Basketball during her senior year of high school... Is a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo... Coached volleyball clinics for middle schoolers this past summer.
