Led by returners Betty Wang, Mei-Ling Laures and a host of newcomers, the Caltech women's fencing team pulled out three outright victories at the Stevens University-hosted Stevens Invitational this past weekend.
Although a shorthanded roster and lack of experience will put Caltech women's fencing at a disadvantage in any match, the 2016-17 squad will look to its senior leadership to guide a young team as it finds its way in the IFCSC and NCAA West Region.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The épeé team of Christina Meyer (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. / Hackley School), Constance Robinson (Cupertino, Calif. / Monta Vista) and Catherine Pavlov (Woodside, Calif. / Menlo School) posted a combined 14 individual wins at 6,000-foot altitude against several Division I schools at the Western Invitational held at the Air Force Academy on Saturday.
