Soccer - Made three starts and played in 18 games...Recorded three shots and three shots on goal for the season...Started against Cal State San Marcos (Sep 10, 2011), Whittier (9/17/2011), and Caltech's victory over Cal Lutheran (Sep 21, 2011)

Basketball - Played and started in 20 games for Caltech...Led the team in blocks...Went eight for eight from the free throw line against CU-W on 12/3/11...Pulled down nine rebownds against URW on 2/16/12...Had seven rebounds and five assists against Arizona Christian on 12/12/11

As a Sophomore (2010):

Soccer - Made three starts and played in 18 games...Recorded three shots, one of which was on goal...Started against Whittier (Sep 25, 2010), Cal Lutheran (Oct 13, 2010), and Redlands (Oct 16, 2010)

Basketball - Played in 22 games and made eight starts for the Beavers...Scored a career-high 15 points against Pomona-Pitzer on 2/10/11, She also pulled down a season high seven rebounds in that game...Tallied two blocks against Occidental and CMSW on 1/27/11 and 1/22/11 respectively

As a Freshman (2009):

Soccer - Made her Caltech debut on Sep 6, 2009 against Concordia-Morehead

Baskeball - Played 24 games and made 17 starts for Caltech in her freshman season...Averaged 5.8 points per game and had 3.8 rebounds per game

High School:

Member of the soccer, basketball, and track & field teams in high school...Earned Division II 3rd team all-Ohio in 2007 in soccer....Also named to the Greater Cleveland Division II 1st team in 2007 and 2008

Prefect job after graduation: Maybe making some awesome new artificial organ or developing some breakthrough medical device.

If you could spend just one year doing a job outside of your field, what job would you want for the year?  I guess it isn’t really feasible seeing as I’ve had no training since I was seven, but, a ballerina.  What a challenge.

If you had TIVO in your room, what is the TV show you set it for? Bones and Glee!

If Hollywood was making a movie about you, who would play you?  Maybe Audrey Tautou. She’s great.

If you were a superhero, what would your hero name be and what would your power be?  The Amazing ToadyLou and my power would be the ability to build ridiculously great forts.

What is the last book you read just for fun?  The Exiled Queen by Cinda Williams Chima

If you found a magic lantern, complete with magic genie, what would your three wishes be?   No one goes hungry, people stop fighting, and 1000 more wishes.

What is the one invention that you wish you had been the person to invent?  The dishwasher.

Favorite athlete? Marta – she’s a fast, skilled, and dominant soccer player.  She’s the best in the world. Hands down.

Favorite scientist and why? Karl von Frisch – he discovered the honey bee “waggle”!!!  The waggle is a dance that a bee uses to communicate the location of a food source by relaying the angle of flight with respect to the sun and the amount of fly time needed to get there.

Who is the person in your life that is the most responsible for helping you to be who you are today and what was their most significant contribution? Probably my parents, who tried to teach me right from wrong.

Why is math or science so you? It’s very objective and cumulative.  Everything happens for a reason.

Favorite family tradition:  Epic amounts of Christmas cookies, and those awesome candied sweet potatoes at Thanksgiving.  Also, the annual Christmastime family newsletter.

What makes you laugh so hard you can’t stop or you end up doubled over? My team.  And my foolish English cocker spaniels.

What was your favorite thing to do on the playground in elementary school? Play touch football and soccer.

What is your most favorite Caltech moment to date? When we swept Pomona last year! Also, beating Oxy and Pomona in soccer was epic.
