NEW ORLEANS (Mar. 4, 2019) – Freshman Peter Kulits (Everett, Wash. / King's) of the Caltech men's track & field team has earned NCAA Indoor Track & Field All-Region for his marks at last month's Mountain T's Invitational.
The top-five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction. Kulits' 13.28m jump positioned him second among Division III West region competitors and eighth overall in a field consisting of competitors from Divisions I, II and III. Kulits has since gone on to receive SCIAC Field Athlete of the Week recognition, while improving his career-best triple jump mark to 13.69m, good for second on the Caltech Top-10 list.
Kulits and the Beavers are currently in preparations for this weekend's Oxy Invite, set for Saturday, Mar. 9 at 10 a.m.
