Worked toward identifying outlier objects in large sky survey datatsets via a semisupervised machine learning approach with Dr. Ashish Mahabal as part of SURF the summer after his freshman year...Conducted two years of research in Astrophysics at UC Santa Cruz...Awarded an Intel STS semifinalist prize for his work using VELA simulations to identify a solution to the cusp-core problem with Professor Joel Primack...Created a novel algorithm to rapidly calculate the f(NH1) distribution function for simulated galaxies.
