Developed and optimized the synthesis of aza-peptides with possible use to treat macular degeneration...Write-up of the synthesis pathway for the different derivatives synthesized to be used in an upcoming article (with Université de Montréal's William Lubell)...Characterized an antibody which targets a particular receptor at the surface of noiceptors (pain-sensing neurons) which are suspected of being involved in noiceptive mechanosensation....Characterized the efficency of various strains of viruses for mice transfection with Reza Sharif at McGill University...Developed a mission concept for the exploration of Martian lava tubes...Invstigating LIBS and the ChemCam instrument on the curiostiy rover with Richard Leville at McGill University.
