CROSS COUNTRY

Coach Scott Jung will take a team of 5 men and 5 women to compete in the 2009 NCAA Cross Country Regional at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on Saturday, November 14th.  Team and Individual berths to the National meet will be up for grabs as they compete on the campus course at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in Claremont. 

The women's 6000 meter (3.7 mile) race will begin at 9am, and the men's 8000 meter (5 mile) race starts at 9:45am. The course starts on Pomona College's soccer field and proceeds through the campus' athletic and adjacent wash areas before culminating on the Sagehens track. Runners from twenty NCAA Division III West Region institutions in California, Oregon, Washington and Colorado will enjoy the warm and sunny climate that Southern California has to offer.

Freshman Alan Menezes finished 17^th at the SCIAC cross country championships to garner All SCIAC honors and frosh teammate Cameron Fen finished 23 overall at Prado Park in Chino, CA on 10/31.
