Caltech Athletics : Harriers Set to Run in West Region Preview Meet

Coach Scott Jung and his colony of 27 men and women Beaver harriers will take a predawn bus ride to Claremont today for the 2009 West Region Cross Country Preview meet at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges. This meet will mark the first on-campus meet since 1990 for the host Sagehens and feature most SCIAC teams and Chapman, UC Santa Cruz along with 'B' teams from Cal Poly Pomona and UC Irvine. "This is another important step in development opportunity for 2009 squads" commented head coach, Scott Jung. The Beavers will run again at the SCIAC Multi-Duals at La Mirada Park on October 17th and then the SCIAC Finals at Prado Park in Chino on October 31st.
