Percin Scores Twice Against Cal Lutheran

PASADENA (Apr. 1, 2017) – Sophomore Brittany Percin (Lake Tahoe, Calif. / Stanford Online) found the net twice for Caltech in Saturday's women's water polo match against SCIAC foe California Lutheran University. Percin scored her first goal with 48 seconds to go in the first period while her second goal came in the third period while being swarmed by the Regals' defense.

The Beavers' most effective moments came in the third period when they were able to smother the Regals defensively and generate chances on the counter attack. Senior Mary Boyajian (Sun Valley, Calif. / Village Christian) saw her six game scoring streak come to an end and finished the game with four scoring attempts. Freshman Sarah Kreider (River Forest, Ill. / Oak Park and River Forest) was once again effective in net, blocking seven shots.

Head Coach Jon Bonafede and the Beavers will host their second to last home game of the season when they take on SCIAC foe University of La Verne, Wednesday at 4 p.m.
