The Beavers women's volleyball squad continued SCIAC play with a pair of conference road matches.
Chapman 3, Caltech 0 (Box Score)
In their first match of the weekend, the Beavers got a solid offensive effort from Catherine Jamshidi but fell to the host Panthers 3-0 (25-8, 25-13, 25-14).
Jamshidi tallied her sixth career match with double figure kills as she put down 11 attempts. In addition to her offensive effort Rebekah Kitto came up with a season high six kills. As a team the Beavers had 21 kills which tied a season high for kills in a three-set match.
In addition to her efforts on offense, Kitto dug up a career best 10 balls while Lisa Lee had a match 12 digs for the Beavers.
Pomona-Pitzer 3, Caltech 0 (Box Score)
After a one-match hiatis, Paige Logan return to the Caltech to tally a team high nine kills but it wasn't enough as the Sagehens produced a 3-0 (25-8, 25-10, 25-15) win on Saturday afternoon.
The host Sagehens were effective offensively as they recorded a .395 team hitting percentage en route to the win.
