As a Freshman (2010-2011):

Played in 19 matches and 56 sets for the Beavers…Tallied 13 kills on 78 attacks, and had three assists…She made her Caltech debut against West Coast Baptist on Sep 7, 2010...Recorded two assists against La Verne on Oct 29, 2010…Recorded two kills against Southwestern College on Oct 23, 2010, La Sierra on Sep 15, 2010, and Redlands on Sep 24, 2010


High School:

Played four years of tennis at Stanton College Prep in Jacksonville, FL...She was captain of the team and played in the #1 position while being a regional finalist for two years in singles...Won the regional chapionship one year in singles and was the doubles champ in 2008 and 2010...State quarterfinalist for singles in 2008

Chemistry major...Came to Caltech because of research opportunities...Members of Caltech's tennis team and was named conference's first-team in 2011 and 2012...Enjoys computer games, reading, and exploring California for new Asian food...Her best athletic achievement waws being named an alternate for Division III Nationals in 2012 for tennis...Her favorite athletes are retired tennis players Lindsay Davenport and Marat Safin...Her best research projects were studing great white sharks in South Africa in Sept 2012 and working in the Arnold lab group in the summer of 2012 where she worked on the development of new mutant enzymes with biofuel applications...Her biggest influences both academically and athletically were her parents Cyrus and Wei as well as her brother Alex
