Kitto Earns First-Team Honors

PASADENA, Calif. – For the second straight season Rebekah Kitto was named the SCIAC first-team all-conference women's tennis squad.

The sophomore went 8-1 against conference foes this season while posting a 13-1 overall record in dual matches. She played all 14 of her matches at the No. 1 singles positions. Currently she is ranked 11th in the ITA west region rankings. In addition, she was listed as the first alternate to participate the NCAA singles championships.

Her 13 wins ties her with Natsuko Kagawa and Alexis Johnson for the most wins in school history in one season. During her two years on-campus she has posted a 22 win which ties her for the seventh most at in a Caltech career with Chenyee Liaw.

In addition, Kitto went 2-1 against regional ranked opponents with her lone loss coming to Kristin Lim of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps who was named the conference's player of the year.
