Caltech Athletics : Women’s Hoops Return to Pasadena Victorious

The Beavers enjoyed the sweet taste of victory by a score ot 57-40 over Pacific Union College today as they put the wraps on a 8 day road trip to Northern California. Freshman Krissy Dahl led the way for Tech with 28 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. Caltech held a 2 point lead at the half, but put the host Pioneers away in the second frame.

The Caltech women's basketball team came off of their holiday respite to play on the road in Northern California for a week. The Beavers played in the 2008 Peninsula Classic at Menlo College Tournament in Atherton, CA versus host Menlo College and Holy Names University. Caltech then made ther way to the California Maritime Academy on January 2nd.

The team will then open SCIAC play for 2008-09 at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on January 8th then play at Pomona and La Verne before coming home to the friendly confines of Braun vs. Whittier College on January 17th at 5pm for a twinbill with the men.
