Caltech Women Knock Off Visiting Fisher College (MA)

Junior, Lisa Yee with 18 and frosh, Theresa Juarez with 17 points feasted on some home cooking in the friendly confines of the Braun Athletic Center as they led the way in scoring on Saturday night.  The Beavers (1-3) grounded the visiting Falcons of Fisher College (MA) by a final score of 66-44 for their first victory of the young 2008-09 season.  Caltech led at the half 31 - 16 and never looked back.     

Coach Marbut and the Beavers will host the Eagles of Southwestern College (AZ) for a 2pm non-conference matinee on 12/6 before taking a short break for final exams and the winter holidays.
