2009 ALUMNI/ALL-COMERS MEET
Saturday, 2/14 - Alumni Meet a Success! We had a great turn out at our Alumni/All-Comers Meet. Coach Levesque was thrilled to have so many alumni at the meet, some watching and some competing. Our alumni competitors were, 100m/200m school record holder Haywood Robinson (60m), all-time top ten in the 1500m/800m Matt Kiesz (4X400), all-time top ten in the 5000m Mark Eichenlaub (4X400), all-time top ten in the 5000m, Gustavo Olm (3000m) and school recorder in the 10k, Katherine Breeden (3000m). In addition to those competing, we had numerous alumni helping with the meet while cheering on the the undergrads. We had the Caltech 3000m school record holder and #2 in the 5000m, Ian Shapiro, 100mhh school record holder, Helen Tai, 1500m/800m school record holder, Alan Kleinsasser, Long Jump school record holder Dick Van Kirk, all time top ten in the 100mhh Michelle Giron, and our starter for meet was all-time top ten in the 10k J.R. Heberle(who looked very professional in his track official uniform). Thanks to all of our great alumni for their continued support and we looking forward to the alumni meet in 2010.

This year looks to be full of exciting experiences for the Beaver track and field teams as they plan to take a spring break trip and compete in the Rainbow Relays (T.C. Ching Complex) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa which is located near Honolulu on the Island of Ohau and scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2009.
