Saturday, February 14, 2009 marked the official opening of
Caltech Track & Field season with the 'Annual Running of the
Beavers' otherwise known as the Caltech All-Comers/Alumni
Meet. This event is staged at this time every year and
Coach Levesque and company were very happy with the turnout and
enjoyed seeing the alumni. Field events started at 11:00AM
with running events at 1:00pm.
This year looks to be full of exciting experiences for
the Beaver track and field teams as they plan to take a spring
break trip and compete in the Rainbow Relays (T.C. Ching Complex) at the
University of Hawaii at Manoa which is located near Honolulu
on the Island of Ohau and scheduled for Saturday, March 21,
2009.
