Caltech Athletics : Beaver Alums Turn In Great Performances at All Comers Meet

A record turnout for the 2008 Caltech All Comers/Alumni meet saw several alumni competing and helping with meet management. The gloves came off as a was rivalry started between the alum men's 4X400m relay school record holders and the current 4X400m relay team. Both foursomes were training hard for this match-up. The Alumni quad were ahead for the first 2 legs, then the current team kicked it in gear and took the lead on the final 2 legs to come out with the victory. "Overall it was great to have the track and field alumni there to support the current team" commented Coach Levesque. "It is always fun to hear them tell their stories of back in the day when I was on the team...."
