Beaver Swimmers Ready to Dive Into 2009-10 Campaign
Coach Clinton Dodd and company are ready for the 2009-10 season to begin and the Beavers will hit the competitive waters today for their first meet of the year. Mills College (CA) is the first opponent for the Beav's and the action begins at 5:00pm in the Braun Pool. Diving will take place in the Alumni Pool under the watchful eye of diving coach, Ute Zimmerman as sophomore sensation and returning SCIAC 1 meter diving champion Justin Johnson returns to the spring board. Coach Dodd (the Dean of SCIAC Coaches) enters his 31st season at the helm of the men's & women's swimming and diving program at Caltech and has a large squad of men and women which will grow in the coming weeks as the Caltech men's water polo team finishes their season on November 14th. Please stay tuned for all the exiting aquatic action and come out and root for the Beavers.
