Csaposs Adds Three at Pomona-Pitzer

CLAREMONT, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2018) – Sophomore Steven Csaposs (Davis, Calif. / Davis) led the Caltech offense with three goals as the men's water polo team took on Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in its sixth-consecutive game in Claremont.

Csaposs' three goals paced all Caltech scorers, and freshman Alex Wang (Saratoga, Calif. / The Harker School) followed him with two goals and an additional six shots. Sophomore Alex Janosi (Ann Arbor, Mich. / Dexter) had one assist and went a perfect 4-for-4 on sprints. Caltech's best period came in the third when the Beavers outscored the Sagehens, 3-2, thanks to goals from Wang, senior Eshan Govil (Redwood City, Calif. / Sacred Heart Prep) and sophomore Neil Sanderson (Laguna Beach, Calif. / Winchester).

Head Coach Jon Bonafede and the Beavers will return to their home pool on Saturday, Oct. 13 to meet Chapman University at 7 p.m.
