Team Captain Earns All-SCIAC Honors and SCIAC Award of Distinction for Soccer
Yesterday afternoon, the SCIAC Men's Soccer Coaches
Committee voted Caltech mid-fielder (and part-time
goalkeeper) Grayson Chadwick a member of the 2009 All-SCIAC
squad, second team and then unanimously selected Chadwick the
prestigious honor of the 2009 SCIAC Award of Distinction
for Men's Soccer. "Gray is a team leader and
consistently added to the overall breadth of our team" commented
Coach Roland Uribe. Chadwick scored 3 goals with 3 assists on
the season.
When Grayson, a junior team co-captain is not
playing soccer for the Beavers, his time is well spent as he
managed to capture the attention of experts in the field of
HIV/AIDS research last year when he proposed a novel treatment for
