For Men's Hoops, It's "Suits & Sneakers" Weekend
The Caltech and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's basketball teams will dedicate their contest at the Braun Center on January 31st to the very worthwhile efforts of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) who in conjunction with the American Cancer Society sponsor the 2009 Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers awareness weekend January 30 thru February 1, 2009. Coaches Oliver Eslinger and Ken Scalaminini along with their staffs will all be wearing sneakers with their traditional business wear for this contest.
The purpose of this display is to show support for the Coaches
vs. Cancer program. Suits and Sneakers will unite coaches from
across the country in the common effort to raise cancer awareness
in their communities.
