Fencers Fair Well at Notre Dame Tournament
Saturday, March 7th will mark yet another step forward
for the Caltech Men's & Women's Fencing Teams as they
will send 9 fencers to Palo Alto for the NCAA
West Regional at Stanford University. Four of the nine
Burns, Fireman, Mintun and Romney represented Caltech last year at
the NCAA Regional tourney at Cal State
Fullerton.
Coaches Michael D'Asaro and Carla Corbit are very excited with the
solid efforts of this years team and positive strides made from
their recent trip to South Bend, Indiana to compete at the
prestigious Notre Dame Invitational last weekend. "This
trip to Notre Dame put us in some very high level competition with
national caliber fencers, these opportunities are excellent for the
Caltech kids" commented head coach D'Asaro.

National Championships to be held at Penn State University
from March 13 thru 16.
