La Sierra Manages to Hold Off Late Inning Beaver Rally...
Sunday, 4/27 - The Caltech Baseball team rallied from an 8-5 deficit in the 9th inning today to fall to the host Golden Eagles by a score of 8-7 in a late season non-conference game at La Sierra Univeristy.

Beavers Open 2008 Campaign...
2/2/08 - Coach D'Auria welcomed dry weather and the opening of the 2008 season with their traditional exhibition twin-bill versus Dodgertown West. Caltech swept Dodgertown by scores of 8-5 and 11-6. Freshman, Rob Rosenberg went the distance in game one and senior Kevin Noertker pitched 5 innings in game two with sophomore, Mike Gherini shutting down Dodgertown in the final two innings. Three Beavers touched them all in game two with Noertker blasting a shot over the left field fence and junior, Matt Glassman following suit. Gherini drove one to deep center and managed to leg it out for a homer. "These were good games for our team" commented Coach D'Auria.
