Beaver Baseball Opens 2010 On the Road at La Sierra

After a week of torrential downpours and their 2010 exhibition
opener canceled, Coach D'Auria and the Beavers got a little
cooperation from the weather and made their way to Riverside to
take on the Golden Eagles of La Sierra University on Monday.
Tech jumped on the hosts took them into the 8th inning up 7-5
and that is when the wheels fell off the wagon and LSU managed
to score 7 with the Beav's only picking up one more run, final
score of 12-8.
Next up for Caltech Baseball will be twinbill visit from UC Santa
Cruz (club) on Saturday, January 30th, first pitch is set for 11am.
