Caltech Tennis Teams Honored for Academic Success
PASADENA, CA – Both the men’s and women’s tennis teams for Caltech were recognized with all-academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
“Our team takes great pride in its academic accomplishments. A priority of our program is to balance school work and tennis. So being recognized by the ITA as an all-academic team validates our success in this area,” said head coach Mandy Gamble.
All-Academic honors are handed out to teams with a collective GPA over 3.2 and to individuals with a GPA over 3.5 who won varsity letters and were enrolled for at least two semesters at their institution.
This is the fifth consecutive year, and the sixth year out of seven that the men’s team has been honored with ITA All-Academic Honors.
The women’s tennis team was recognized for the fifth year out of the past seven and the third straight season.
