Plans Announced for 2012 Midnight Madness
On Sunday evening, Oct. 14 the third annual Caltech Athletic Midnight Madness will take place at Braun Athletic Center.
After a successful launch to Midnight Madness in 2010, the Caltech Athletic Department is excited to see what will unfold, once again, during the 2012 event.
The evening’s festivities will begin at 10:00 p.m. with food from Caltech's Dining Services. The doors to the gym will open at 10:45 p.m. At that time all the attendees will be encourage to participate in the crazy games and events that will take place prior to the basketball teams taking the floor at 12:01 a.m. Monday morning. There will be a special house prize awarded to the house who has the best representation.
There will be a special recognition of the Caltech fall sport student athletes as well. The newly revived Caltech pep band will be present to take part in the celebration for the second consecutive year.

10 p.m. – BBQ Begins on Braun Athletic Center Plaza
10:45 p.m. – Doors to Braun Gym Open and check-in begins
11:00 p.m. – Games Begins (Shooting Contest, Dribble Relay, etc.)
11:30 p.m. – Recognition of Fall Sport Student-Athletes
11:50 p.m. – Always exciting half-court shot
12:01 a.m. – Basketball teams take the floor
