Recreation Announces Maintenance Work
During the month of August there will be a wide ranging number of maintenance projects happening around the athletic facilities.
Braun Gym --
Beginning Thursday, August 9, the following
facilities will be closed due to refinishing of the floors:
*Braun Gym
*Four racquetball courts
*Multi-purpose room
If all goes well, these facilities will re-open on Monday, August
20. Please see our facilities schedule for updates and changes.
Pools --
Beginning Saturday, August 11, the Alumni Pool is scheduled to be drained; beginning on Monday, August 13, an assessment of the health of the alumni pool will commence. The Alumni Pool will be closed indefinitely. The re-opening is dependent upon on the assessment results.
During this time the Braun Pool will be open on a revolving schedule. There will be lanes open for lap swim but recreational and free swim is limited to Saturday and Sunday after 2:00 p.m. Please be aware that the minimum depth of the Braun Pool is 7'6".
*Renovations to spa will be done between Oct. 17-31. During this period the spa will be completely shut down and unavailable.
