What is it about your field of study that intrigues you?
(Major: Physics) You get to learn about why the universe works the way it does!

Favorite athletic moment at Caltech?
Matt Kiesz was running the 1200 leg of the distance medley relay at a meet last spring, and when he was handing off the baton, the announcer sounded surprised that Caltech was in third with a field of school that included the SCIAC schools, as well as schools like USC.

People will be surprised to know . . .
I did a lot of creative writing in middle school.

You against yourself

What goes through your head as you step up to the starting line?
You've trained for this. Remember to keep breathing and the rest will fall into place.

Favorite food?
Panang curry

What teammate has inspired you the most?
Best Chaipornkaew, because she is always enthusiastic.

Favorite book?
The Years of Rice and Salt, Kim Stanley Robinson

If you could go to any sporting event what would it be? 
A World Cup soccer match.  I've never been to a world-class soccer game.

Best part about living in California?
It's sunny all the time, and it's never too cold to run outside.

If you could bring anything from your hometown what would it be?
The aurora borealis.

If you had no schoolwork what would you do all day?
Go for a hike somewhere in the San Gabriels (I actually haven't been up Mt. Wilson yet...), and then hang out with my friends.

What are your pre meet rituals? 
Make sure I have my racing flats and have a banana with breakfast.
