The applications of the things we study to solve real problems

Both our overtime games last year were very exciting.

What goes through your head as you are "at match point", at the free throw line, during a race, etc.?
How much homework I have to do later.  No, just kidding. I usually try to just focus on making the shot and don't end up thinking about much else.

Favorite part about being a student-athlete at Caltech?
The challenge of balancing school and sports (and sleep)

What teammate has inspired you the most?
Matt's competitiveness is contagious

Harry Potter

If you could go to any sporting event what would it be?
Final four

Best part about living in California?
The weather! I'm from Minnesota so nothing beats California winters.

If you could bring anything from your hometown what would it be?
I'd try to bring some snow back to make the California winters feel a little more like home, but I guess that'd be pretty hard to do.

If you had no schoolwork what would you do all day?
Hang out with friends

Travis.  He's always fun to watch because no one ever wants to guard him.

Hopefully the one where we break our sciac losing streak

How silly people get when they've been staying up for a long time working on a problem set

Where do you get your motivation from when things get tough?
My family is always there to help when things get tough

Best thing about Caltech?
The size and the personal attention from the amazing people here that it allows you

What would you like to achieve most in your life?
Happiness I suppose

I perform best when I'm challenged

If you could change one thing about Caltech what would it be?
A little less homework in order to get a little more sleep

It's always fun to hit a 3 pointer
